Hi Tim,
The error you received is due to changes in the newest version of
lme4. We're updating the mixed packages to work with the new version
presently, and it should be available soon.
For now, ls.mixed and the other mixed routines are tested to work
with lme4 version 0.99875-9.
Best,
Delia

Dear List Members,
I faced the following Error when experimenting around with the
example given with the ls.mixed function in the zelig manual.
Error in checkSlotAssignment(object, name, value) :
"terms" is not a slot in class "mer"
I use R 2.7.1 with the latest Zelig version 3.3-1.
My next question is about the use of AIC and BIC with imputed
datasets I want to build a mixed model with imputed datasets and
obtain the AIC and BIC for model comparison. Can somebody can give
me a example how this could be accomplished?
Thanks in advance,
Tim
