I found a problem in sim() when the model has a single independent variable.

s.out <- sim(z.out, x = x.low, x1 = x.high)
Error in matrix(factor(pr, labels = lev[1:length(lev) %in%
sort(unique(pr))], :
non-numeric matrix extent
(I replicated the error in the vnc.hmdc.harvard.edu server)
