sim errorDear Brian,
The likely explanation is that you have a function or another object in your workspace
also named "sim", which is masking the Zelig sim function. I suggest that you
quit R, then remove all the objects from your workspace, then load Zelig. e.g.:
remove(list = ls())
library(Zelig)

Olivia

Subject: [zelig] sim error
I am a relatively new R user and am trying to get Zelig up and running. When running the
sample code from the documentation, I receive an error when I the sim function is read:
data(turnout)
z.out <- zelig(vote ~ race + age, model = "logit", data = turnout)
x.out <- setx(z.out, race = "white")
s.out <- sim(z.out, x = x.out)
Error in sim(z.out, x = x.out) : unused
argument(s) (x ...)
traceback()
1: sim(z.out, x = x.out)
I should also note that I receive the following message after loading the Zelig package,
but I don't know if it has anything to do with this error:
Attaching package: 'Zelig'
The following object(s) are masked _by_ .GlobalEnv :
sim
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian
