Dear Anne,
It looks like a problem with your data variable classes. Can you tell me str(heb)?
Yours,
Olivia

Subject: [zelig] Fw: help with method mlogit
I have a question with the use of polytomous logistic regression (method
"mlogit")
trying to work down on a "real lifed ta " the doc example I have set
z.out <- zelig(OPARSn ~ mangern+lavern+habillern+deshabn+entpersn+contvesn+contanan
+toiletn+memoiren+orientatn+jugementn+soccupern,
model = "mlogit", data=heb)
where heb$OPARSn is polytomous (values 1:13) . that seems to work OK
however trying
x.weak <- setx(z.out,mangern= 1)
# 1 is the minimum of mangern
Error in seq.Date(along =
object) : `from' must be specified # ??? I do not have a date object
or
x.weak <- setx(z.out,heb$mangern= 1)
"syntax error"
(it is just a copy/paste from the example???)
Any idea?
Tanks a lot
Anne
