I'm having the exact same problem. I'm running R 2.0.1 on Windows XP
(fully updated) and I've updated Zelig, MASS, and boot using the
install.packages command. My classmates discovered that the problem
"goes away" if you go back to using R 1.9.1. Unfortunately, much of our
work is done in a lab where we cannot changes versions. The lab
computers are also running XP.
Thanks,

Could you let us know what operating system you are using? It looks like
you need to rebuild a few packages: MASS and boot. Try
install.packages("MASS")
install.packages("boot")
And then reload Zelig.
Hope this helps,
Kosuke

Dr. King,
Sorry to bother you directly, but I am having trouble accessing the
zelig listserv. I am trying to estimate the marginal effects for a
multinomial logit model and the Zelig library provides some very useful
functions towards that end. I installed the latest version of the
library along with the latest version of the VGAM library and tried to
run the example code for multinomial logit. The details of the R
session and error for the sim procedure are provided below:

betwen the latest version of vglm and the zelig sim procedure.
