Hello,
After installing R 2.8, I've had been unable to load MatchIt due to a
problem with optmatch. Is anybody else having a similar issue?
The specific error is below.
> library(MatchIt)
Loading required package: optmatch

A more experienced hand could probably figure out what's going wrong,
and absent any good advice that's what I'll be trying to do later
today but I thought I'd see if anybody else had a similar problem.
Thanks,
Ben

Can you tell me your syntax? I'm not sure how you are using plot.zelig()
to plot the propensity score. Are you using the plot function that comes
with MatchIt?
If the issue is just about the title, then what you can do is to go into
the pdf file of your plot (that is, open it in a text editor such as
emacs, NotePad, WinEdt, etc.), then do search and find "Distribution of
Propensity Scores" and simply delete those words (keep the quotation
marks).

Hello,
I can't find this problem discussed in the archive and was wondering
if anybody knew what was going on. If I subclassify with the lalonde
data, I get an error when I try to use summary.
> m.out <- matchit(treat ~ re74 + re75 + educ + black + hispan + age,
+ data = lalonde, method = "subclass",sub.by="all",discard="control",subclass=3)
> summary(m.out)
Error in summary.matchit.subclass(m.out) : object "sub.by" not found
>
The issue here is definitely the sub.by option, using the default
sub.by of treat doesn't cause this problem. I don't know how the
summary method works, so I'm not sure how painful a problem this may
be to fix.
Thanks,
Ben
