Problems with ei
by De Lance-Holmes, Jane T
I am trying to save the simulations from an ei program in R. I can run the model fine, but when I try and look at 'psisims' I am having problems. The information says that 'psisims' is a "matrix of random simulations of psi". But I get an object with NULL dimensions. It dumps all values to the screen if I ask it to but I can find no way of actually getting at any of the data, it just dumps everything to the screen all in one go.
Also I am trying to run the model with a covariate. This code works fine
dbuf2 <- ei("p.lab01", "p.nonwhite01", "elec01", Zb="p.nonmanual01", data=agg)
but this one does not
dbuf2 <- ei("p.lab01", "p.nonwhite01", "elec01", Zw="p.nonmanual01", data=agg)
All that has changed is Zb has become Zw. The error message I get is
Error in x - mean(x) : non-numeric argument to binary operator
In addition: Warning message:
In mean.default(x) : argument is not numeric or logical: returning NA
Would really appreciate some advice on this.
