Drat! I realized after I sent this that I had neglected to include a few
important lines.
The error occurs after attempting to use the "undergrad" routine.
The command issued is:
undergrad.preprocess <- undergrad(control="control.txt", stem=T,
strip.tags=T, ignore.case=T, table.file="tablefile.txt", threshold=0.01,
python3=F, pyexe=NULL)
And the first line of output from issuing the command:
[1] "python
/Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Resources/library/ReadMe/makerfile
--control-file control.txt --table-file tablefile.txt --threshold 0.01"
At which point I receive the error noted below:
/Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Resources/library/ReadMe/makerfile:5:
DeprecationWarning: The sre module is deprecated, please import re.
import sre
Apologies for the multiple email. And thanks in advance for any advice.

Apologies for what is certainly a problem arising from
my being relatively
new to R.
I'm getting an error I can't seem to pin down:
/Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Resources/library/ReadMe/makerfile:5:
DeprecationWarning: The sre module is deprecated, please import re.
Running:
R version 2.10.1
Python 2.6.2
During installation of ReadMe I got confirmation that VA was installed.
From what I can find online, this appears to be a Python issue, with the
"sre" module being, at least at one point, a stub that just asked for an
import of "re".
Is there any documentation I can look through to find how/where to import
the re module -- is it likely that this is, in fact, the problem?
From what I can tell, the control file is formatted correctly, the working
directory set correctly, etc.
Thanks for any and all help on this.
