Hi,
I too am having problems implementing ReadMe. I am not an expert on
such matters so I do not deny the possibility of user error.
I installed the most recent version of ReadMe. I am also running
Python 3. When I try to execute the demo, I get this:
library(ReadMe)
Loading required package: VA
demo(clinton)
demo(clinton)
---- ~~~~~~~
Type <Return> to start :
oldwd <- getwd()
setwd(system.file("demofiles/clintonposts",
package="ReadMe"))
undergrad.results <- undergrad(sep = ',')
[1] "python
C:/Users/Jesse/Documents/R/win-library/2.12/ReadMe/makerfile
--separator \",\" --control-file control.txt --table-file
tablefile.txt --threshold 0.01"
Error in undergrad(sep = ",") : Python module failed. Aborting undergrad.
When I try to execute my own analysis, I get this:
setwd("C:/Users/Jesse/Presidents and Party
Rhetoric/Data/1933 Roosevelt")
undergrad.results <- undergrad(control="1933RooseveltControl.txt",
stem=F, strip.tags=F, ignore.case=T, threshold=0.01, python3=T,
pyexe="C:/Python32/Python", sep=',')
